Lord Kenya’s Call to Christ Hurts Me — Zapp Mallet

Date:

Legendary music producer Zapp Mallet has revealed his hurt by former hip-life star Lord Kenya’s betrayal.

Zapp Mallet, widely known for producing hits upon hits back in the day for many Ghanaian artists.

Recounting a period of betrayal by Lord Kenya (Abraham Philip Akpor Kojo) Max TV’s E-Quick show, the seasoned beatmaker was left disappointed after he was asked to scrap all projects by the now-turned-pastor, Lord Kenya, simply because he became born again.

The determination of Pastor Philip (Lord Kenya) to manifest 2 Corinthians 5:17 left Zapp Mallet utterly disappointed, considering the hard work that had been put into their projects.

“What would you do when suddenly your biggest artists comes and says he doesn’t like the songs he did again? He has parted ways with that life so he no longer wants it… and yes, I am talking about Lord Kenya,” said Zapp Mallet to the hostess, Akosua Takyiwaa.

The producer, visibly still reeling from the hurt done years ago, disclosed he hardly hears from his once favorite artist, who has certainly left the world behind him to pick up the cross of Jesus Christ.
