Ghana is set to be hosted by Zimbabwe in the 4th CAF African Schools Football Championship continental finals this year.
The CAF initiative, which focuses on grassroots football development, starts from April 2-10, 2026.
Ghana goes into the tournament as defending champions in the girls’ category, as the boys miss out on this year’s.
Countries participating in the girls’ category are Zimbabwe (hosts), Ghana (champions), Burkina Faso, Morocco, Guinea, Tanzania, Zambia, and DR Congo.
Zimbabwe (Hosts), Tanzania (Champions), Benin, Morocco, Senegal, Uganda, Zambia, and DR Congo are the nations vying for glory in the boys’.
Countries from other continents are set to receive historic invitations to participate in the tournament.
