The record is safe for another year— Terry mocks Arsenal

Date:

LONDON — Former Chelsea captain, John Terry, has mocked Arsenal after they were defeated 3-2 by Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday.

The three goals means they have now conceded 17 goals and cannot beat Chelsea’s defensive record which was set in the 2004/2005 campaign.

This number means that Arsenal have exceeded the 15 goals that Chelsea conceded 21 years ago.

After the match at the Emirates, Terry wrote on Instagram, “The record is safe for another year.”

Terry played a key role in the Chelsea defence that set that record under Jose Mourinho.

The 44-year-old also said, “So Petr Cech, Paolo Maldini, Ricky Carvalho, William Gallas, it’s time to celebrate with a bottle or a glass of red wine.”
