A day after the death of the founder of Asomafo gospel group, a prophecy by Prophet Bismark Nana Boateng, known widely as Regal Prophet has surfaced online.
The prophet who predicted the death of Yaw Sarpong who tragically passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at the age of 66 requested for Ghanaians to intercede for the music legend.
He said in his vision he witnessed Yaw Sarpong following his longtime companion, Maame Tiwaa in glory and charged Ghanaians to intercede for the gospel singer in order for God to prolong his life.
”Though, Yaw Sarpong had been sick for a long time, I wanted us to intercede for him because I saw him following his companion in the grave,” he said.
After his prophecy went viral, Regal Prophet has earned the admiration of some Ghanaians who believed his prophecies were clear and should be taken seriously.
Yaw Sarpong died at the Emena Hospital in Kumasi, where he had been receiving medical care for his ailment.
His death was confirmed by his manager, Nana Poku Ashis, and legendary music producer Fred Kyei Mensah, popularly known as Freddy Ma.
