‎Kwame Yogot vows not to join GHAMRO

Date:

Kwame Yogot has vowed not to join the Ghana Music Right Organization (GHAMRO) until his talent is recognized and respected in the industry.

He said his decision is to protect his integrity as a talented musician in the country.

Kwame Yogot made this vow while he was talking to the Max Morning Show in Accra on Tuesday.

He noted that in the industry, if one had to get the needed royalty and recognition, the onus lies on the artist to work hard, and that was what he was doing at the moment.

‎”I haven’t registered; I haven’t gone there. At the right time when they say this boy is too talented and recognizes me, I don’t have time to go and waste there. They have to also see my talent, I have worked too much. I have worked to the extent that I don’t have to be begging,” Kwame Yogot added.

Until he gained the needed recognition for his talent and hard work in the industry, he vowed not to register for GHAMRO to protect his interest as a fine art of the country.
