Home Stars FC seek to further deepen the woes of Na God FC in this season’s Access Bank Division One Zone Three league.
The Ho base club will be in a buoyant mood heading into Sunday’s clash at 3PM, on the back of their fine victory over True Democracy FC in their last league outing.
Home Stars have rediscovered their fine form in the league after the appointment of their new gaffer coach, Kobina Amissah.
Owner of the club, Mr. Justus Joe Ayivor, popularly known as Afe Lotto, is extremely happy with the current improvement in the form of the team under the guidance of the new coach.
The Volta regional capital side Home Stars has managed to pick vital wins against Akatsi All Stars, Okwawu United, and True Democracy FC, coupled with a draw against Great Olympics and a defeat against Port City.
Form the guide under the new coach is very encouraging as the team picked up three wins, a draw, and a defeat in their last five matches in the league.
Na God, on the other hand, is currently having a season to forget after parting ways with coach Seth Hofmann. They will have to try and turn things around quickly in order to avoid dropping into the relegation zone on the league table.
Players to watch on Sunday are Ronald Numenyah, the club captain and talisman for Home Stars FC; Harve Gbafah; Stephen Agbekli; and Felix Narh Doku.
