CHAN 2024: Nigeria to face Sudan, Senegal, Congo in Group D

The home-based Super Eagles have been drawn alongside defending champions Senegal, Congo, and Sudan in Group D of the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN).

The draw ceremony, held on Wednesday night at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in Nairobi, Kenya, set the stage for the eagerly anticipated tournament.

This marks the Super Eagles‘ return to the biennial competition after a six-year hiatus, sparking renewed optimism among fans and stakeholders.

Other Groupings: Group A: Kenya, Morocco, Democratic Republic of Congo, and Zambia. Group B: Tanzania, Madagascar, Mauritania, Burkina Faso, and Central African Republic. Group C: Co-hosts Uganda, Niger, and Guinea, with two additional teams set to join the group later.

The tournament, co-hosted by Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda.
