Eric Alagidede, general manager for the 2023-24 MTN FA Cup champions, Nsoatreman FC, has revealed the mouth-watering price for their prized asset Walid Fusseini.
Walid Fuseini, nicknamed Neymar due to his similar style of play to the Brazilian icon, has attracted interest from top clubs in Ghana and beyond.
The 24-year-old is reportedly a big target for the IFFHS’ African Club of the 20th Century, Asante Kotoko, ahead of the opening of the January transfer window.
Walid has been exceptional so far in this campaign for Nsoatreman FC as they sit 11th on the 2024-25 Ghana Premier League standings.
“Kotoko are always interested in every player. No team has approached us. Rumors always arise when the transfer window gets close. I don’t think they would buy because of his price tag. Walid is worth $100,000. If any club is interested, they must be able to match the offer, we will sell,” Alagidede said on Max FM.
Walid is currently in the camp of the Black Galaxies as they prepare to face Nigeria in the qualifiers for the 2025 Africa Nations Cup. The team is moving to Togo to play an international friendly with the Togolese national team.
