The celebration of John Dramani Mahama’s return to the presidency was marred by the death of a Sekondi Hasaacas FC player.
The player, Kwabena Baidoo, died in a motor accident while celebrating the landslide win for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ellembelle district of the Western Region.
Baidoo’s siblings, Emmanuel Quarm and Charity, confirmed the news to Ghanaian online news portal Ghanasoccernet.
The tragic incident has cast a somber mood in the district, mourning the untimely loss of a beloved member, brother, son, and teammate.
