The messianic leader of Burkina Faso, Capitaine Ibrahim Traoré, has called on the president-elect of the Republic of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, to maintain good relations between both nations.
Traoré, a loyalist to Russia’s president Vladimir Putin, called for the maintenance of the good international relations both neighbors have been enjoying since days of old in a congratulatory message to His Excellency John Dramani Mahama.
Mahama has apparently regained his seat after provisional results projecting a one-touch victory after polls closed on Saturday, December 7, 2024.
Burkina Faso, north of Ghana, despite disagreement on certain matters in recent times, still has a fruitful neighborliness, as Traoré hopes both countries will work together to build a “stronger and better integrated sub-regional space.”
