The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced the new TNA Stadium in Tarkwa will host the Champion of Champions on Saturday, August 31, 2024.
FC Samartex 1996, winners of the 2023-24 Ghana Premier League, will take on the winners of the 2023-24 MTN FA Cup, Nsoatreman FC, in the clash to determine which team is the champion on champions in Ghana.
Football lovers on Friday, August 16, witnessed the opening of the ultra-new TNA Stadium in Tarkwa, when the resident club, Medeama SC, locked horns with Kumasi Asante Kotoko, winning by two goals to one.
Nsoatreman overcame the relegated Bofoakwa Tano FC to win the MTN FA Cup at the Legon Sports Stadium on penalties after Samartex ended the league season as winners to book spots at the preliminary stages of the 2024-25 CAF Inter-Club Competitions.
