Celebrated Reggae/Dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy has announced that his much anticipated single featuring renowned American singer, WyClef Jean will be released on Friday, August 9, 2024.
Dubbed “Pray for Me,” the video was directed by Charlie Rees and highlights the struggles of individuals and why they needed prayers to fast-track their missions and visions in life.
The collaboration adds to his list of international artistes including Keri Hilson, Sean Paul, and Angélique Kidjo among many others he has featured to ensure his music moves boundaries while promoting Ghanaian music to the world.
Stonebwoy, after announcing this on social media, urged his fans to anticipate the track promises to be inspirational and mind-blowing to send them to the dancefloor.
The collaboration came to fruition when Wyclef Jean invited Stonebwoy to his New York home while the latter was on his American tour in February this year.
Sharing the joy of meeting WyClef, Stonebwoy posted a video in which he was seen schooling Wyclef Jean on a Ghanaian delicacy, Waakye, while both enjoyed the meal together.
