Former Nottingham Forest manager, Steve Cooper has signed a three-year deal to join Leicester City.
This comes on the back of Enzo Maresca’s departure from the club after guiding them back to the Premier League at the end of the 2023–24 season.
The Foxes were previously linked to former Chelsea manager Grahama Potter before settling for 44-year-old Cooper, who had been out of work since December 2023 after he was fired for leading Forest to the relegation zone.
“I am really excited and proud to be appointed Leicester City’s first-team manager,” said Cooper.
“This is a fantastic club with a rich history and passionate supporters. I am excited to work with such a talented squad, and I’m looking forward to the challenge of achieving our shared ambitions in the Premier League.”
