MAX ENTERTAINMENT: Shatta Wale praises Stonebwoy over Bhim Concert

Date:

Self-acclaimed reggae-dancehall king Shatta Wale has lauded his arch rival Stonebwoy for a successful Bhim concert that took place last Friday at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Commending Stonebwoy on his Facebook page, Shatta Wale urged fans to hail Stonebwoy and appreciate his effort for such a massive concert.

His comment comes after his fans and some netizens criticized and compared Stonebwoy’s concert to that of Shatta’s Freedom Wave, which was also held at the same stadium last year.

“Let’s us all learn to appreciate ourselves for once and move on. To say congrats to a fellow brother or sister won’t spoil anything. I am too focused now to deal with who did it first or last,” he said.

The “One Don” hitmaker advised fans to change their attitude and support those who were doing massively well in the industry rather than seeing everything as competition.

“If we can change our attitude of how we support each other in this music business everyone will be happy. Yes, Shatta Wale did it, and Stonebwoy has done it too. That should be the glory, not the gory,” he added.

Shatta Wale pledged to teach his fans love and how to support and congratulate others when they did something right, and he commended Stonebwoy for the concert that took the industry by storm.

“Shatta movement I came here to teach love, not hate. My ways to repair might be harsh, but trust me, that is the only way Ghana music will learn and bounce back into the realities of life !! Shatta movement says congrats to the #BHIMPRESIDENT and let him also enjoy his moment in peace,” he stated.

History was made on December 22 as the iconic Afro-Reggae/Dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy, staged his monumental Bhim Concert at the 40,000-capacity stadium, which overflowed with tumultuous fans.

The atmosphere was filled with excitement, and a noticeable energy coursed through the fans in the stands.

For over 10 hours, the Accra Sports Stadium became a sacred space for Bhim Nation.

Musicians including Epixode, Larusso, Ras Kuuku, Kofi Kinaata, and Sefa took turns igniting the crowd with their diverse talents, each act adding a unique flavor to the musical gumbo.

The concert was then rated as the most sold-out concert of the year.
