Black Queens coach Nora Hauptle has named 23 players for the upcoming 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) second round of qualifiers against Namibia.
The 15th edition of the biggest football competition for African women will be held in Morocco in 2024, and the Black Queens will be making sure to qualify and reach the highest height in the competition.
Ampem Darkoa’s hero at the recently ended CAF Women’s Champions League, Comfort Yeboah, earns a call-up following her sterling performances.
Kumasi Sports Academy’s Kerrie McCarthy also gets a call-up.
