Morocco is planning to bid for hosting rights for the 20231 Women’s World Cup after securing joint-bid rights to host the 2030 Men’s FIFA World Cup with Spain and Portugal.
The President of the Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), Fouzi Lekjaa, and the Minister for Budget have both outlined the benefits of having their country host these senior international competitions.
Aside from Morocco, England and China have expressed interest in hosting the 2031 Women’s FIFA World Cup.
