Former Black Stars captain Stephen Appiah has donated to the victims of the floods caused by the Akosombo Dam spillage in the Volta Region of Ghana.
The former Juventus star made this donation on Wednesday, together with Wembley Construction Company. These donations were presented to the North Tong Member of Parliament, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa.
The items seen in the pictures included mattresses and food products.
The floods that have been ongoing for weeks now have displaced thousands of people in the Volta Region and beyond.
The politician took to social media to thank Stephen Appiah for his generosity, describing him as more than a footballer.
