MAX GPL: Banahene confirms Hearts of Oak’s interest

Date:

Stephen Owusu Banahene, a midfielder for Bibiani Goldstars, confirmed that he is in contact with Hearts of Oak about a potential transfer.

The Phobians are looking to add a reliable and skilled midfielder to their team in time for the next Ghana Premier League season.

Banahene is thought to have been chosen by the Phobians as the ideal midfielder who can complete the squad before the start of the new season.

“Hearts of Oak have expressed interest in me and we are in talks but we are yet to agree on a fee. Both parties are yet to reach agreement but we are still in talks. Hearts of Oka can improve next season provided they put things together and appoint a good coach and that is serving as a motivation for me to join them,” he said in an interview.
