MAX LIFESTYLE: VIDEO: KKD’s gay son leads LGBTQ+ demonstration in London

Date:

Son of prominent Ghanaian broadcaster Kwasi Kyei-Darkwah, also known as KKD, Kwaku Darkwah Kyei-Darkwah led an LGBTQ+ protest in England.

Wearing an open-button shirt with a bralette underneath and denim pants, Kweku Darkwah, a sales professional and stylist for major fashion labels, led a peaceful march encouraging LGBTQ+ individuals to be fearless.

“I just want to say to everybody new that is walking by whether you are in support or pathetic. We are not only walking so we can stick it to everyone. We are walking because we know we are fire. We are walking because we know we are Divine. We are walking because we have rights. We are walking because we know that we are building and we are not going to stop”, he proclaimed into a microphone.

Kwaku Darkwah Kyei-Darkwah came out as gay in a publication by the online magazine intomore.com in November 2017. He was featured among other LGBT models with African ancestry and spoke about the difficulties they encounter as individuals.

After his son came out, Kwasi Kyei-Darkwah posted a Facebook message of support and congratulations for him, calling his son bold and courageous.
