The finale of the Deluxy Professional Boxing League came to a great climax in Fight Night 20 with Charles Tetteh winning the National Featherweight Championship belt and went home with a Renault car.
The Grand finale of the Deluxy Professional Boxing League took place at the Bukom Boxing Arena on Boxing Day , Monday 26th December,2022 , with Hon. Mohammed Amin Lamptey as the Ring Announcer.
The heart and soul behind the Professional Boxing League, chairman of IMAX Media, Mr. Maxwell Takyi was at the event .
At the table of legends was The Professor, Azumah Nelson and other great boxing personalities who graced the Fight Night 20 at the Bukom Boxing Arena.
The Deluxy Professional Boxing League, which is brought to spectators by IMAX Media and the Ghana Boxing Authority(GBA) , saw Premium Motors- Renault awarding the best Boxer and Gym with cars at the end of the Grande Finale .
It was a great Grand Finale indeed as there were great entertaining performances from Dada Yohane and his dance crew .
The talented Saxophonist , Mzz Triumphant played the national anthem of Ghana ahead of the national title bouts.
Nero X’s performance was memorable and outstanding .
With the bout of the season between Charles Tetteh and John Quaye it is all clear that the two will take Ghana far in world boxing.
Charles Tetteh after ten rounds of boxing defeated John “Magic Man” Quaye to win the NATIONAL FEATHERWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP title belt.
In the second bout of the night, Godson Amuzu ,in Black and White trunks, floored Rocky Otoo.
Mandela Atulik ,who was in Red and Black trunks, was unable to continue after round two, succumbing to a strong Benjamin Saka.
Michael Abban defeated Isaac Aryeetey to win the National Super Fly Championship match.
Presentation of the National Super Fly Championship title belt to Michael Abban was done by Azumah Nelson and Mr. Maxwell Takyi.
Sheihk Daniel , in a Red head gear, proved to be too much for Prince “the buzz” Larbie ,in black head gear, to handle in the second juvenile bout of the night.
A very aggressive Alidu Suleman ,in Red and White trunks, showed no mercy on Yahaya Yusif as he floored him three times.
Despite encountering a challenge with his footwear, Joseph Tagoe defeated Michael Bibi at the end of six rounds of boxing.
