Jacinta saying that she wants justice for those who couldn’t fight back and live a good life because of their poverty, adding that that’s the dream she has for her fellow countrymen. Silently, Gilbert (Supremo) begins to wonder whether Jacinta was really under his control. Jacinta rises to her feet and bids goodbye to leave but Gilbert intercepts her and uses his power of compulsion on her, compelling her to return to the Philippines to work on his campaign.
Madam Star warily approaches the Lumakads as she has her eyes set on Tristan. Berto introduces Tristan as one of her tenants and Star hastily extends her condolences to Berto before running off. Tristan looks on in confusion. Meanwhile, Gael informs Baristo and the others about the change in the prophecy. Somewhere, Omar continues to lead the rebel vampires on, supposedly to find information on the werewolves.
“We can’t go back until Jethro and Veruska have escaped,” Omar thinks to himself. “I hope they do and can while we’re not there.”
Nognog glides over to the cell in the dungeon and proceeds to free Jethro and Veruska. They soon encounter some vampires and the trio fight them off and advance. Another fight breaks out once they ride the elevator to the Heat Bar. In unison, Jethro, Veruska and Nognog outwit the vampires and they trap them inside the elevator while they make their escape.
Miyo (Malia) seems to be healing herself as the bullets embedded in her body begins falling out one after the other. Meanwhile, Jethro, Veruska and Nognog encounter a horde of vampires at the ground floor and they’re left with no choice but to fight them off. Veruska transforms into her wolf form for battle while Jethro engages the undead scums with a dagger made of werewolf fang. After a while when the numbers game prove to be much more than they can handle, Nognog takes Jethro hostage in an attempt to get the vampires to back off.
“Nobody believes you’ll do it,” so says a random undead scum.
“I’m going to die anyway,” Nognog states, brandishing a dagger trained on Jethro’s neck. “If I kill the Guardian himself. But you can’t escape Supremo’s wrath.”
And with that, Nognog compels Jethro to flee with Veruska while he stays back to hold off the vampires. It’s a free-for-all as the undead scums gang up on him and practically maul him to the point where he drops lifeless and disintegrates into ashes. Still in wolf form, Veruska lets out a howl somewhere on the apex of a building. Upon hearing it in town, Jake howls back and hurries to track down his mother with Baristo in tow.
Omar returns to the vampires’ lair where he’s informed of the escape of the prisoners as well as Nognog’s death. He puts on an act and sends out the undead scums to go hunting for the escapees. Speaking of, Veruska emotionally reunites with her son. Jethro does same with Baristo and Gael. The next morning, Miyo (Malia) regains consciousness again as she still lies on the spot she had fallen the night before.
Tristan goes to the precinct to ask for an update about Miyo, only to learn of the major accident the officers who had picked him up had been involved in. At the LLU base, Jethro reaffirms the change in the prophecy and Veruska urges everyone to stick together to fight the war. She asks Baristo to reach out to all the werewolves around the world. At the vampires’ lair, Supremo returns and unleashes his anger on Omar, effortlessly tossing him around with his power like a rag doll.
“I wasn’t there when they escaped,” Omar gasps. “I didn’t see it.”
“Where were you when it happened?”
“You gave me the order to help senator Paglinauan with that Miyo. We went to see him at the hospital, but then the members of La Liga Unida, they were there to stop us.”
“And what were they doing here?” Supremo demands.
“I want to know too, beloved Supremo.”
“I’m going to give you one last chance at redemption, Omar. I want you to bring all of the members of La Liga Unida that you can find. Because if you don’t, you’re not the only one in trouble. She…”
“She has nothing to do with any of this.”
Supremo gloats. “You’re telling me this as if you don’t know what I can do.”
The Blood Moon Episode 32
Tristan reaches out to Baristo
While Tristan arrives at the crash scene teeming with cops and spectators, Baristo and his comrades make plans to search the vicinity for Malia. Jake is desperate to join the search but Baristo insists that he focus on his mission with the Moonchasers. Eventually, Veruska manages to talk him into it. Meanwhile, Jacinta Magsaysay arrives at her house in the Philippines, just as Tristan meets up with Baristo near the crash site. They soon split up to go in search of Miyo, who’s currently being licked by a dog as she lies motionless. The dog runs off and comes across Tristan, who pets it for a while before it disappears.
Prof T and Samantha debate on a way to keep an eye on Supremo’s next move since they no longer have anyone on the inside anymore. Samantha plans to give the Guardian – not Jethro but Madam Star – some time to learn how to control the visions that come to her. Back at the crash site, Tristan convinces the lead cop of senator Paglinauan’s involvement in Miyo’s disappearance and the officer promises to look into it.
While Jacinta receives Bill her former boss as a guest in her house, Gilbert (Supremo) has a talk with senator Paglinauan, expressing his suspicion of Jacinta being Lia. Paglinauan argues that if that were so, then she wouldn’t have wasted so much time to kill him herself. Supremo takes offense at that and angrily grabs Paglinauan by the throat, questioning him as to whether he’s his enemy or ally. In the meantime, Jacinta discusses with Bill about how challenging Gilbert will be to handle and Bill eventually welcomes her to M&L Strategist.
“But why?” Senator Paglinauan groans out.
“You were the one who recommended Jacinta’s campaign management firm to me,” Supremo shoots back. “Why did you do that? Did you do it so she could get close to me?!”
“I don’t even know the woman. I haven’t seen her yet, and I haven’t even talked to her…You seem like you don’t trust me anymore.”
Supremo casually releases Paglinauan and turns away.
“If you’re truly that suspicious,” the miserable senator says after he’s had the chance to breathe a little. “Of Jacinta’s motives. Remember, you are still the strongest one of all. It doesn’t matter if she’s Lia or not. Kill her.”
Supremo turns back and smirks. “That would be too easy for me to do. If Lia wants to play this game, then I will indulge her.
Jacinta watches the videos of Gilbert Imperial’s achievements and good deeds, from his numerous charity donations down to the tragedy he had prevented when he had brought the bank robbers to justice.
“What kind of game?” Paglinauan asks back at the office.
“Wiping out her race,” Supremo declares. “It won’t be just the werewolves, but also the vampires and all mankind. As well as everybody she knows in La Liga Unida. What comes next will depend entirely on Jacinta’s reaction. If she really is Lia, I’m looking forward to seeing how this all turns out.”
“But how? You just lost two prisoners. The guardian has escaped. How are we going to find them?”
Jacinta catches Hasmin her maid intruding as she studies the videos of Gilbert Imperial. She proceeds to ask her about him, revealing that he’s her new client. The maid doesn’t give much to go on as she mentions that Gilbert is a guy who has everything. Jacinta asks if he’s famous and Hasmin replies in the negative, saying that she hadn’t even known his name until recently. She brings up the time he had saved some people during a bank robbery as well as the outreach programs he does for the less fortunate.
“But why do you ask?” Hasmin inquires. “If he’s your client, shouldn’t you know more about him?”
“I know that,” Jacinta says. “I still have to get to know him.”
Night has fallen and Miyo (Malia) regains consciousness yet again. The feeling starts to come into her system and she’s able to move her head and her fingers. The dog from before comes running to her again and Malia pets it with her hands.
