Lomotey returned to the team after spending two weeks in quarantine following a positive COVID-19 test.
He missed the win against Rodez and the defeat to Clermont Foot but saw 90 minutes of action as Amiens SC lost to Chambly over the weekend leaving them six points adrift of relegation.
Despite the back-to-back defeats, the ex-Dreams FC player remains optimistic of survival.
“We need more motivation. Motivation, in a club, that’s all! Some players need motivation and need to understand that the season is not over yet. We still have a few games to play and we have to stay focused,” he told le11amienois.fr.
“This is the most important thing! Let’s stay focused, play the last matches and make sure Amiens stays in Ligue 2, and maybe play the playoffs. Some players lack that, maybe.
“Now is not the time to think about all that, it is the time to focus on the next matches and make sure to win them.”
Emmanuel Lomotey has made 21 appearances in Ligue II this season, scoring twice since joining Amiens.
