Jia decided on declining the offer from Dragon Empire to avoid any problems.
Adam took it upon himself to find out who owned RJ & E and meet them personally. He was delighted to find out that it was owned by Jia and immediately flew to Singapore to see her. The two were happy to be reunited again after 8 years.
Jia brought Adam home to greet Kai. Jia was taking a lot of medication so they eventually told him that she had cancer. Adam was shocked because they never told him but Kai said they had sent him a message. Adam said he never received it and was devastated because he couldn’t help her.
Adam saw Jia’s photos when she was pregnant and asked about the child. She told him that she lost the baby and Adam was sorry because Dana’s son would have had a cousin. He showed a photo of Michael to Jia and Kai and they all agreed that the boy looked like Adam.
Kai said that Jia did not want to return to Manila because of what happened with David. Adam therefore told her that it was time she faced her problems by telling Dana the truth and move on.
Adam told Jia about the problems they were having with the company and hoped she could work with them again. Jia refused but agreed to appear in the company’s portfolio. They therefore returned to Manila together.
Adam confronted Lucy for not telling her that Jia was in Singapore. Lucy however said that she would not accept Jia back into their lives and Adam said that he needed his daughter back.
David sent annulment papers to Dana. He then asked his friend to get him Jia’s phone number because he wanted to congratulate her. His friend told him that Jia had moved on and he probably shouldn’t try to contact her again.
Jia went to the pictorial and her former friends were ecstatic to see her again. Lucy and Dana were not happy to see the kind of welcome she received. After they took pictures, Jia and Dana went to Adam’s office to talk. Jia told Dana that she had an affair with David when she was in a coma. Dana got hysterical and attacked Jia. As Adam tried to stop her, she fainted and had to be taken to the hospital.
David brought Dana home after she was discharged but she couldn’t walk. David carried her to their room and said that he would help her recover. Dana swore to herself that she would make him pay!
