Last year’s nominee for the Artiste of the Year, KiDi finally lays hold of the most coveted prize of the VGMA honors.
Having been heavily disappointed last year for not winning the Artiste of the Year accolade, Lynx Entertainment Signee KiDi clinched it this time around!
That adds to his collection of enviable awards having clinched the Artiste of the Year earlier at the 3Music Awards as well. Sugar Daddy has had a great year under review and testament to that is winning the Album/EP of the year also on the night.
A lot of congratulatory messages have gone out to the sensational Afrobeat artiste who has been working hard to make this dream possible. On the back of a successful concert in the U.K at the 02 arenas, KiDi clinched several awards at the 3Music Awards earlier on and has now added to his collection of wins from the VGMA’s.
KiDi won 4 other awards in addition to the Artiste of the Year win. In appreciation, he wrote on his Instagram, “Delay Isn’t Denial”, a lesson for us all.
