We begin tonight’s episode with Isay and her dad arriving home, he scolds her for making him look like a fool but she reminds him it’s her fault for letting Conner go and Nante said she went against her own father for that bastard Isagani and Isay tries to talk to him about how Conner is changed now after what happened and he should at least try to see how she’s feeling because she loves Isagani and will fight for him as Nante leaves angry.
Dulce meets up with Catalina at a restaurant and they discuss Matteo. Catalina assures her she has lots of connections that she should only tell her what she wants and will gladly give it to her, Dulce thanks her for always been there for her asking why she’s always helping her out and Catalina said she sees herself in her and will help her find the courage she needs because they deserve the world.
Lucas calls up one of Gigi’s henchmen trying to confirm if Menandro is really not helping Matteo but he tells him Menandro is good at keeping secrets but is only focus on running the gambling den and he assures him he only wants to destroy the group and start his life afresh like Lucas unbeknownst to Lucas Catalina is behind listening in on their conversation. She asks Lucas she heard him mention Menandro but he said she heard wrong. Soledad introduces him to Catalina.
At the Cardinal distillery, Dulce visits gani saying Isay told her about what transpired in court with Gani saying Isay refused to testify so her father’s testimony was not confirmed and Dulce ask why Isay did that, gani said to defend him but Dulce said because of that she went against her own father and she’s now caught up in the middle but gani said they will both go through it all together and Isay can handle it.
Dulce continues saying it’s a battle with family and they both know it’s a battle they can’t win because it only made things worse for her and Matteo but Isagani assures her Isay is different and their situations are different that Isay refused to testify because she has a way of defending him and fighting for their love without giving up and whatever the challenge they’ll face it together because they love each other annoying Dulce who said she’s just concern because they both her friends.
He also confronts her about helping Matteo and everybody has a choice to do what’s right or wrong.
The Henchman helping Lucas goes through Menandro’s office but he gets caught with Menandro saying he has been keeping an eye on him all these while knowing very well he has been talking to Lucas the son of Roman Cardinal so they hired him as an informant a spy asking if he knows what he does to traitors pointing a knife to his throat but he denies it saying Matteo is in jail and that the Cardinal’s had him locked up, Menandro asked his men to let him go but he should prove to him his use and find out where Matteo is locked up.
In jail, the cell mates talk about how some bandits escaped from jail before in the presence of Matteo who asked how they escaped with the inmate saying they made a tunnel from the ceiling interesting Matteo who got some ideas in his mind.
Lorenzo crosses Dulce’s car again and they begin to argue, he tells her to stop helping Matteo but Dulce said it’s her family and he shouldn’t tell her what to do and he should stop pestering her.
Matteo continues to think about the escape plan from earlier, an officer tells him he has a visitor and it turns out to be Menandro they begin to argue and Matteo said he’s going to kill him but Menandro laughs at him saying he can’t even get himself out of jail and Gigi is already dead and he will rot in jail that everyone who goes up against him end up dead but Matteo assures him once he gets out of jail he will finish him up first but Menandro laughs saying it’s true he burnt the mansion but it’s Lorenzo who took Silverio from him and if he’s Matteo he will put him first on his list so he better find a way out of there or lose everything he has surprising Matteo.
At the Cardinal mansion, Catalina and Soledad drink coffee when Irma also arrives to visit Soledad, Catalina brings up Isagani’s engagement party again asking how it went because someone told her there seems to be a problem so they can tell her about it, Cornering Soledad she tells her the engagement party didn’t push through because Matteo suddenly arrived and said something that caused trouble so it got canceled. She pretends to care but Soledad makes it clear to her nothing and nobody can destroy the Cardinal family making her uneasy.
At the distillery, Dianne and Conner discuss Isagani and Isay and how difficult it must be for them. Conner said love is for the brave and once you find the person you love you shouldn’t let them go no matter what and Dianne can help but notice Conner starring at Lupita’s pictures on his laptops teasing him.
Catalina scolds her assistant(Nina) who she left in charge of her businesses so she can deal with the problem with her daughter first asking why she neglects her duties but Mina tells her their VIP clients are bored and needed new faces, Catalina tells her to start looking for new younger recruits with fresh faces who can charm with their eyes and look innocent just like Carolyn pointing to her after spotting her by the road repairing someone’s car asking her driver to stop the car approaching Carolyn pretending to have a problem with her car and chatting her giving her a card asking her to contact her.
At the Cardinal distillery, An angry Lorenzo barges in on Dianne and her colleagues in a meeting and begins to shout on Dianne again demanding for a document, Dianne tells him to leave all his personal problems by the door because his bad temper is counterproductive and they begin to argue again with Lorenzo saying all his life he only made two mistakes (when he misjudged his father and when he decided to court Dulce Silverio), they continue to argue again and Enzo said the next time she speaks to him with disrespect she will have to face the consequences.
In jail, Matteo continues to think about Menandro’s words trying to find a way out of jail.
Catalina meets up with Dulce again and she asked Dulce if she’s angry with Lorenzo or it’s her ego. Dulce tells her there was a point Enzo was important to her with Catalina asking if she was really important to him too and if she ever confirmed what kind of relationship they had asking if Enzo ever called her his girlfriend when they were together and Dulce couldn’t answer so she concludes Lorenzo just used her and not worth her time that he only played with her feeling and Dulce said now that she thinks about it Lorenzo came right into her life when she and Isagani were having problems and all the times he showed up for her were planned meticulously that maybe Matteo is right that maybe it wasn’t only Isagani and his brothers he put under surveillance because he could’ve done that to her too, Dulce tells Catalina she isn’t going to trust anyone else again except her, making her happy.
Isagani and Isay talk over the phone whiles having dinner and they continue to assures each other about their love for one another.
Catalina tells Mina Matteo’s arraignment is tomorrow and she’s sure all the Cardinals will be there so it’s about time they test how far the Cardinal brothers will go to protect Soledad and Roman, she tells Nina to send a violent lunatic to cause a commotion outside the court and she must get someone who has already killed a lot of people, someone hungry for blood and not afraid to kill again, she must drug him and arm him with lots of weapons instructing him to kill Roman and Soledad that she wants to see each one of the Cardinal’s getting stabbed, a real bloodbath.
At court, Matteo is brought in whiles the whole family is present so is Dulce for her brother. Matteo pleads not guilty so a pretrial is scheduled for later surprising all especially Roman who can’t help but look at his son.
Outside the court, they all look as matteo is brought out, he teases them saying they all joined forces but they still can’t defeat him Matteo Silverio. Gani tells him to continue feeding them with all their lies but they’ll never stop proving all his crimes.
Matteo tells them to not celebrate yet because they haven’t proven anything yet. Gani ask if he has no remorse that he should admit his mistakes so they forgive him but an arrogant Matteo said they will all die first before he ever rots in prison asking if they think he’s the only threat to their stupid family that they should look outside because there are so many people waiting for them and they shouldn’t go out if he was them that they should be very careful because they might end up dead.
Roman tells Soledad he didn’t want things to end up like this but Matteo really needs to learn his lessons.
Outside the court house, the commotion begins whiles the boys try to stop the man sent by Catalina as he rushes to attack Soledad pushing her on the ground and pointing a knife at Roman but the boys got a hold of him and he’s arrested whiles Catalina watching the scene from her car can’t believe the man failed, Angry she said that’s just a sample because next time she will send a battalion to destroy those damn Cardinals.
Matteo is brought to a bigger jail, he tells himself he isn’t going to be looked in there foever because he’s Matteo Silverio and doesn’t belong there in prison, and we ended as he shouts he’s going to get out of there whiles wickedly smiling.
