Court Refers FUNNY FACE To a Psychiatric Hospital

Date:

Popular actor and comedian Funny Face has been referred to a mental health facility for psychiatric evaluation.

Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, a.k.a. Funny Face, was referred to the Accra Psychiatric Hospital yesterday following a court order. This was after he was put before the Kaneshie District Court presided over by Oheneba Kuffour, following his arrest for issuance of death threats against some personalities and celebrities in the country.

The court has instructed the Police Hospital to examine him for substance abuse and if he tests positive, have him admitted to a rehabilitation center in Accra for treatment.

The court adjourned the case to November, 10 2021.
