2025 AFCON Q: Updates on the Black Stars in Kumasi

The Black Stars of Ghana will hold an intensive training session on Wednesday ahead of the CAN 2025 qualifying game against Angola on Thursday, September 5, at 4 p.m.

Seven players, including Starboy Mohammed Kudus, arrived on Monday evening to join the ten players already in camp.

Joseph Paintsil and Inaki William joins the team

Leicester City new signing Jordan Ayew, and AJ Auxerre’s Elisha Owusu are expected to arrive in Accra on Tuesday night to join their teammates in Kumasi.

Following the vehicular accident scare in Tarkwa, head coach Otto Addo has been given prescribed eyewear to help alleviate pain on his eye nerves.

The Palancas Negras are expected to arrive at the Nana Agyeman Prempeh I International Airport on Wednesday and will train at the match venue at 4 p.m. before the Black Stars’ at 5:30 p.m.
