The Black Stars of Ghana kicked off preparations ahead of their last two rounds of qualifying matches against Angola and Niger for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Ghana Premier League stars Emmanuel Antwi, Razak Simpson, and Isaac Afful were joined by five foreign-based stars who had arrived on Sunday night at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday, November 11.
The twenty other foreign-based players are expected to be in the country by Tuesday night to join Mohammed Kudus, Gideon Mensah, Elisha Owusu, Osman Bukari, and Joseph Wollacott, who are already in camp.
Otto Addo, the head coach of the Black Stars invited Osman Bukari, Ransford Yeboah Koningsdorffer, Forson Amankwah, Terry Yegbe, Ebenezer Annan, and Kingsley Schindler to replace the eight players who withdrew from the squad.
The Black Stars will intensify their training sessions on Tuesday before departing for Luanda on Wednesday to face Angola on Friday, November 15.
