The high-flying six-time Premier League winners Chelsea suffered a shock home defeat on Boxing Day to Fulham.
Substitute Rodrigo Muniz handed Fulham the perfect Christmas present with a win at Stamford Bridge.
Cole Palmer had given Chelsea a 1-0 lead in the 16th minute of the first-half through a superb solo goal.
Fulham threatened with a number of incursions since the second-half kicked off. The Cottagers eventually found their equalizer after Harry Wilson, another second-half substitute, scored in the 82nd minute.
Chelsea picked themselves up in search of the winner, but Fulham took full advantage of that to stun the home crowd through Muniz’s cool 95th-minute finish to dent Enzo Maresca’s side’s silent title ambitions.
