Wilson Arthur, the chairman of the MTN FA Cup Committee, has established that the semi-finals of the 2024-25 competition will be played at the Tarkwa and Aboso Stadium.
The round of 64 of this season’s MTN FA Cup commences with Legon Cities welcoming Home Stars FC at the University of Ghana Stadium, Okwawu United visiting the Tuba Astro Turf to battle Attram De Visser SC, and Rainmasters FC taking on top-tier side, Bechem United in Ejisu.
In the 2023-24 season, the last four teams in the competition locked horns at the mordern University of Ghana Stadium, as eventual winners Nsoatreman FC and runners-up Bofoakwa Tano advanced to the final.
Speaking in an interview on Max FM, Wilson Arthur disclosed the recently constructed Tarkwa and Aboso Stadium will host the semifinals, while the University of Ghana Stadium hosts the two final teams.
