2024-25 GPL: Shaban Mohammed joins Dreams FC

Dreams FC of the Ghana Premier League has signed 17-year-old winger Shaban Nazir Mohammed to a four-year deal.

Shaban will play for the “Still Believe” team till 2028. He comes from Techiman Young Goldfields FC, a Division Two team. His arrival increases the pool of new talent available to head coach Karim Zito’s team in time for the 2024–2025 campaign.

The winger, known for his quickness and formidable one-on-one skills, was previously called up to Ghana’s national youth team after putting up standout performances in the Division Two League.

Shaban is ready to step up to the Premier League, where he will try to establish himself and continue to grow.

On Saturday, September 7, Dreams FC will play Samartex in the Accra Sports Stadium to begin their league campaign.
