Dr Prosper Narteh Ogum may definitely be up to something special, as his Asante Kotoko side recorded an impressive victory over Karela United.
The Porcupine Warriors kicked off their 2024-25 Ghana Premier League season with a 0-1 away victory over Karela at the Naa Sheriga Sports Centre in Nareligu on the opening day.
Kotoko ended their seven-game winless streak against the Northern-based team with a stuning effort from new signing Albert Amoah, showing why Dr Ogum was so keen about bringing him on board to his project.
Guinean goalkeeper, Mohammed Camara, who stood in for the captain of the side, Frederick Asare, who is away on national team duty, commanded the posts really well with some scintillating saves to ensure the Porcupine Warriors walked away with maximum points.
