The game which was played at the FNB stadium on September 6, 2021 saw the Black Stars lose in a painful manner.
Ghana recorded a 1-0 win over Ethiopia in their opener but lost to South Africa.
The first half ended goalless but South Africa showed more prominence and urgency.
Towards the dying embers of the game, Hlogwane Bongokhule tapped in from close range to give South Africa the all important win.
Ghana have now won one and lost one and will face Zimbabwe in a later date.
