2021/22 GPL WK 29: Karela United beat Olympics 1-0

Date:

Karela United won 1-0 against the visiting Accra Great Olympics at Cam Park on Wednesday afternoon.

Karela United had to fight the well-organized Great Olympics all the way to the finish to win all three points.

Karela United won the game thanks to a last-minute great goal by Richard Berko in the 90+8 minute, which gave them all three points and increased their chances of finishing in the top four zone on the summit.

With 43 points, Accra Great Olympics has dropped to seventh position and will meet Medeama at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday, May 21.

Karela United, who are now tied for sixth place in the Ghana Premier League with Olympics on points, will meet Kumasi-based King Faisal in four days.
