The captain of the Flying Eagles of Nigeria, Daniel Bameyi, has sent a chilling warning to the camp of the Black Satellites of Ghana ahead of the WAFU Zone B U-20 Championship final on Wednesday (today).
Nigeria, led by head coach Aliyu Zubairu, are hoping to win the title for the second consecutive time after their last triumph in Niger two years ago.
Bameyi believes his side needs the title more than the Desmond Ofei’s Black Satellites.
“We’re delighted to be in the final again, so there’s one more dance to dance,” he said at the pre-match conference.
“We need the cup, we need the cup more than Ghana, and we will give our very best to bring it home again,” Bameyi continued.
