Ghana Black Stars head coach Carlos Queiroz rallies for support to turn the impossible World Cup mission into history.
“Time to sacrifice, time to deliver,” charged the Portuguese gaffer on social media ahead of the official announcement of the Black Stars squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
With 30 days left to Ghana’s first game of the campaign, against Panama at the BMO Field in Toronto, the coach called on the team to be ready to lay their lives for the dream of every Ghanaian to see the motherland make history.
Ghana’s highest finish at the biggest football event in the world is at the quarter-final stage in South Africa, 2010.
The team, currently consisting of under-23 and Ghana Premier League stars, is in camp preparing for a friendly encounter against Mexico.
