Carlo Ancelotti’s unveiling of Brazil’s 2026 World Cup squad in Brasilia on Monday night sparked wild fan celebrations over the selection.

The Brazilian Football Confederation held a grand media event to reveal the final 26-player heading to the global fiesta this summer.

Fans and journalists filled the grand hall, creating an electric atmosphere as the legendary Italian manager stepped up to the podium.

Tasked with ending the nation’s long wait for a sixth world title, a calm Ancelotti began reading through his list starting with the goalkeepers and defensive units.

Goalkeepers:

Alisson Becker
Ederson
Weverton

Defnders:

Marquinhos
Danilo
Bremer
Gabriel
Alex Sandro
Douglas Santos
Ibanez
Leo Pereira
Wesley

Midfielders:

Casemiro
Bruno Guimaraes
Danilo Santos
Fabinho
Lucas Paqueta

The moment Ancelotti mentioned Neymar’s name, the auditorium erupted into a frenzy of deafening cheers and chant filled celebrations.

Forwards:

Neymar
Vinicius Junior
Endrick
Gabriel Martinelli
Igor Thiago
Henrique
Matheus Cunha
Raphinha
Rayan

However, many others were left shocked that Chelsea power forward Joao Pedro, who had more league goals than Garbriel Martinelli, Matheus Cunha, and Rayan combined was left out.
