IMAX Media has secured the exclusive right to produce and broadcast live the first ‘Super Clash’ of the 2024-25 Ghana Premier League season.
The Ghana Football Association reached an agreement with the biggest sports production and broadcasting media company in Ghana, IMAX Media, to take over the telecast of one of the oldest rivalry games in African football, Asante Kotoko versus Hearts of Oak, live on Max TV.
Hearts of Oak, a point above their fiercest rivals, Asante Kotoko, in the Ghana Premier League standings, will travel to Kumasi on the back of a good run, having won three games in their last five matches, unlike their opponents.
Ahead of the game on Sunday, December 15, at 3PM, head coach of Kotoko, Dr Narteh Prosper Ogum, called on his charges to be confident and believe in themselves, as he aims to draw first blood in the first of the ‘Super Clash’ meetings for the season.
The Porcupine Warriors will have an uphill task on their hands, as goalkeeper for the Phobians, Benjamin Asare, is determined to keep a clean sheet.
Victory for either side would propel them into the top five of the league standings, should Medeama SC and Bechem United lose their respective matches.
