Semenyo Wins FA Cup For Manchester City

Date:

What a season Antoine Semenyo is having, especially after joining England’s elite club Manchester City in January 2026.

The Black Stars of Ghana forward yet again was on the mark for Pep Guardiola’s side, this time in the Emirates FA Cup final.

Semenyo scored the winning goal in the 71st minute of the FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium on a bright and sunny Saturday afternoon with a cheeky back heel flick.

A descent of the Mawuli School in the Volta Region, the Ghanaian striker becomes the fifth from his motherland to win the oldest competition in English football.

His performance against Chelsea in the final will certainly aid his bid to be crowned Premier League’s player of the 2025/26 season, which will make him the only Ghanaian to win the prestigious award.
