World Cup-winning legend Thierry Henry was impressed by the performance of Antoine Semenyo against Fulham on Monday night.
The Black Stars forward, Semenyo, scored against Fulham in a match week 32 clash at the Vitality Stadium.
Bournemouth are in the race to qualify for next season’s Europa League, with Fulham and Brighton following closely behind.
In a post-match interview with Sky Sports, Henry praised the movement of the Ghanaian international before scoring and jokingly hyped him cooking fufu and jollof rice in the game.
“So you were cooking,” to which Semenyo replied, “Yes. You know me. I have to cook.” Then Henry humorously said, “You were cooking some fufu, jollof rice.”
Semenyo’s performance against Fulham is a testament to his hard work behind the scenes and determination to be consistent for the rest of the season for Bournemouth and the Black Stars.
