School Connect: Student Commits Suicide At Islamic SHS

Date:

A boys’ prefect of Islamic Senior High School, Kumasi, has fallen to his death.

Abass, a form three student, reportedly fell from the top floor of the school’s administration block.

The sad demise of Abass, who was a business student, occurred on Tuesday, November 18, 2025.

School authorities, according to reports, were unaware of Abass’ alleged suicide tendencies.

Persons close to the family have disclosed that the deceased had hinted at that but considered it a joke.

The regional Ghana Education Service office has been notified by the school of the incident.

Abass has since been buried according to Islamic traditions.
