Ismail Sarr has etched his name in the annals of African and global football.
The Senegalese star matched a long-standing record of Cameroonian legend Roger Milla.
Sarr became the second African player in history to score four goals at a single edition of a FIFA World Cup.
The first player to have achieved this feat was Roger Milla in 1990, as the world witnessed Cameroon on a historic run.
Sarr scored his fourth goal of the 2026 FIFA World Cup against Belgium in the round of 32.
Habib Diarra had given the Teranga Lions the lead before Sarr doubled the lead.
The Lions appeared to be not strong enough to withstand the Red Devils and eventually gave in.
