President Akufo-Addo: I will do everything in my power to lead NPP to another victory

The National Council and the National Executive Committee of New Patriotic Party (NPP) has been assured by President Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo that he will lead the party to a resounding victory in the Presidential elections on 7th December 2020.

This declaration was made on Saturday, June 27, 2020 by President Akufo-Addo during his acclamation ceremony as Flagbearer of the NPP held at the Alisa Hotel in Accra.

“I shall with God’s help do everything in my power to justify your decision and lead this most deserving party to another victory in December,” President Akufo-Addo said.

The President nominated Vice President Dr Bawumia, after his acclamation for the fourth time, as his running mate.

The nomination of vice president Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia received a unanimous endorsement of the National Council and the National Executive Committee of the NPP.

In his speech after his endorsement, the vice president thanked the NPP party leadership and president Akufo-Addo for the honour.

Whiles giving assurance that he will continue to work with his boss to ensure the development of Ghana, should they get the nod for another term in office in the December election, Dr. Bawumia touted the Akufo-Addo government’s achievements in the last three years.
