#PremierLeague: Brighton reports record earnings for the 2022–2023 campaign

Date:

The most profitable season in Brighton’s Premier League history, the 2022–2023 fiscal year brought in a record £122.8 million.

Annual profit after tax climbed from £24.1 million to over £100 million, while turnover reached a record £204.5 million, up 17.2%.

In 2022–2023 Albion made it to the FA Cup semifinals, finished sixth in the Premier League, and brought in hefty transfer fees for a number of important players.

According to Brighton, the numbers can contribute to more “significant progress” on the field.

Brighton Chief Executive Paul Barber stated, “These accounts will of course catch the eye because of the headline number.”
