At the Bukom Boxing Arena in the early hours of Saturday, June 14, 2025, American boxer Andrew Tabiti knocked down Ghana’s Jacob Dickson in the main event of the “Battle of the Beasts”.

Tabiti exhibited superb skills in front of a packed boxing-loving crowd in Accra against Dickson for the WBC African Cruiserweight title.

The American’s decisive blow floored the Ghanaian in minute 1 and 34 seconds of the fourth round, stunning the natives who were in full support of their own.

Tabiti’s victory in his return to the ring improves his record to 21 wins out of 23 fights.
