The 2025 Democracy Cup is set to be postponed to a later date.
The second edition of the competition, which will see Accra Hearts of Oak take on Accra Great Olympics.
With the change of venue from Accra Sports Stadium to the University of Ghana, the game will now be played on Friday, September 5, 2025.
This is due to the one-week celebration of the late Ghanaian highlife legend Charles Kwadwo Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba.
Rt Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, Ghana’s Speaker of Parliament, is expected to provide an official update on the Democracy Cup today, Friday, August 22.
