Hon. Theresa Lardi Awuni has called on residents of Okai Kwei North to come together in unity and love to drive development in the area.

Speaking on Maxtv during Eid al-Fitr on Friday, March 20th, 2026, the honourable member emphasised the need for collective effort in addressing the challenges facing the constituency. She noted that sustainable development can only be achieved when residents put aside their differences and work towards a common goal.

“Let us build Okai Kwei north with love, unity, and a shared vision for progress,” she urged, adding that peace and cooperation are essential for growth.

Hon. Awuni further highlighted key areas such as youth empowerment and infrastructure as priorities that require community involvement and support.

Residents who attended the Eid fitr welcomed her message, expressing optimism that such calls for unity would lead to meaningful development in the area.
