Gospel songstress Esther Smith says her songs have impacted the lives of many people and even fixed a broken marriage.
She revealed this in an interview ahead of her upcoming Esther Smith concert scheduled to take place in Kumasi and Accra on August 25 and August 30, respectively.
The United Kingdom-based Ghanaian musician recounted that her “Ma Wonsan” track changed someone’s mind about divorcing his wife after listening to it.
“One gentleman told me, ‘hey Esther, do you know that your song ‘Ma Wonsan’, I was nearly divorcing my wife, but the song brought us together,’” she said.
Esther Smith indicated that before releasing a song, she “fast, and prayed” and further argued that all her songs were inspired by God.
The songstress, who is currently in Ghana to hold two concerts at the Bantama Pentecost Church and continue with another in Accra, will be performing alongside Joe Beecham, Lady Prempeh, Morris Babyface, Randy Agyemang, Adom Kiki, and Noble Nketsia.
Other musicians billed to perform were Mark Anim Yirenkyi, Nana Yaw Asare, Joyce Blessing, Oware Junior, and Minister OJ, among others.
Esther Smith is noted for her inspirational songs and has eight albums to her credit.
