The Major League Soccer had recorded its highest ever stadium attendance in 2024 at 11 million fans, beating the previous record of 10,900,804.
The league credited the rise largely to the signing of one of the best footballers to have ever graced the sport, Lionel Messi, to Inter Miami.
On April 13, the Arrowhead Stadium recorded 72,610 when Messi led Inter Miami to take on Sporting Kansas City, while LAFC and LA Galaxy saw a mamoth number of 70,076 present at the Rose Bowl on July 4.
The league is currently averaging 23,240 fans per game.
