Medeama Are Two Matches Away From GPL Title

The hunt for the Ghana Premier League title reaches a new height for Medeama SC.

With just two games to go, Medeama’s dream of winning their second-ever league title may soon become a reality.

Away at Basake Holy Stars on Sunday, May 10, 2026, the Yellow and Mauve boys recorded an all-important 0-1 win.

Kingsley Braye came off the bench to score for the Tarkwa-based club in the 71st minute of the game.

The league leader’s closest rival, Bibiani GoldStars, were not in action over the weekend and have a game in hand as they trail by five points.

A defeat for GoldStars in their next game would crown Medeama SC as kings of Ghana football.
